Thaler Oil proudly provides reliable propane delivery to customers  with Thaler Oil leased tanks and/or customer owned tanks. We service customers within a 50-mile radius of Chippewa Falls including Chippewa, Eau Claire, Dunn, Clark, Buffalo, St. Croix, Barron, Taylor, Trempealeau, Rusk, Pepin, and Jackson Counties. Tank Leasing

Thaler Oil offers propane tank leases ranging from 250 to 1000 gallons to suit a variety of residential and commercial needs. Our tanks come with no yearly lease fee as long as minimum annual propane usage is met. If usage falls below the minimum, a small lease charge may apply. Contact us to find the right tank size and plan for your property.

Tanks for purchase

As well as leasing tanks, Thaler Oil sells propane tanks ranging in size from 120 gallons to 1,000 gallons. We offer new, reconditioned, and used tanks to fit a variety of residential, agricultural, and commercial needs. Tank availability may vary, so please call Thaler Oil for current inventory and pricing. Also ask us about our interest free tank payment plan where you can pay for your tank in four separate payments over two years.

Cyclinder refills

At Thaler Oil, we refill propane cylinders of all sizes at our Chippewa Falls office, providing a convenient and cost-effective option for residential, recreational, and commercial use. We also offer 20-pound propane tank exchanges at both our office and at all of our Express Mart store locations. In addition to refills and exchanges, we’re certified to repair and recertify propane cylinders, ensuring they meet safety standards for continued use.

Thaler Oil offers temporary set propane tanks for a variety of uses, including construction sites, new home builds, and other short-term heating or energy needs. These tanks provide a flexible and reliable solution when permanent service isn’t yet in place. Whether you need heat for a job site or fuel for temporary equipment, we can provide and install the right setup for your project. Bulk deliveries

Thaler Oil provides bulk propane deliveries for commercial, and agricultural customers. Whether you need regular scheduled deliveries or one-time fills, our experienced team ensures safe and efficient delivery every time. For pricing or to set up a delivery, give our office a call.

Propane Safety

At Thaler Oil, safety is our top priority, which is why we will not fill any propane tanks that have not been properly inspected. We conduct leak tests to ensure every tank is up to date and free of any leaks, protecting both your property and our technicians. In accordance with safety regulations, a leak test is also required anytime a tank runs out of propane. To help prevent this, we strongly encourage customers to regularly check their propane gauge and call us if the level drops below 25%. For help reading your gauge, please reference the video below.
